For the last two weeks I've had problems with various bad connection messages appearing. They are only brief, but happen all the time and the messages are just a nuisance in the end. Anyone else having problems?

Hi,

We've also noticed a few problems in the last few days, and are looking in to the cause. I hope to be able to update you within a few days, but hopefully fix the problems sooner.

Please keep us posted if you continue to have problems.

Having major problems getting onto the system, can't load any maps whatsoever let alone plot routes or save anything.  Makes me question the point of paying for this system even if it is a small amount, if it's not available when I need it.  All other sites are working fine so I'm fairly sure it's not my internet connection, and I seem to be able to ping & tracert to grough.co.uk but the website, forums and route planning are up and down like a yoyo today.

Unfortunately I am looking for a reliable system as I'm a DofE assessor so need to be able to access routes I have plotted into the system.

Guess I'll go back to the old map and compass, at least that doesn't give me server unavailable messages Wink

Hi,

We've just run a couple of tests and aren't having any problems accessing the maps here.

If it's a specific area you're having problems with, can you give us an idea of where it is and we'll see if it's a specific route causing the problem?

Thanks

edit: I've also checked with our datacenter in Manchester and they're not aware of any issues. The route system does use the same servers as the rest of our website, so it sounds like a connection problem of some description. Which ISP are you with?
