A woman was airlifted to hospital yesterday after a fall in the Highlands.
Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team was called to aid the mountaineer after she fell 50m down a gully in Coire Odhar, Glen Etive.
The unnamed woman was with a party of 13 other climbers from the Edinburgh area when she fell. The corrie lies to the South-west of the summit of Creise, a 1,100m (3,609ft) Munro.
A Royal Navy helicopter from HMS Gannet, Prestwick, took the injured woman from the mountainside. She was then taken by ambulance to Belford Hospital, Fort William, where she was detained overnight.
