Two men were rescued from the Angus glens after getting lost in bad weather.

The two climbers were in the Glen Doll area yesterday when they became disoriented.

Police Scotland said they received a message about 9pm that the pair, described as experienced climbers, needed help.

A police spokesperson said: “Both men were traced safe and well by the police and local mountain rescue team.”
