Britain’s Scouts are being urged to stay on the right path after compass brand Brunton teamed up with the youth organisation.

UK distributor Rosker has signed a deal with the Scout Association that will see the Brunton TruArc models carry the Scout logo and designated the official Scout compass.

The Brunton TruArc 5 and 10 compass models will be added to Scout kit lists that can be downloaded by leaders in a print and online marketing campaign that will reach more than 200,000. Brunton will also sponsor the Scout orienteer activity badge.

The Scout Association has more than 550,000 members and is the largest volunteer-led youth movement in the UK.

Rosker managing director Ralph White said: “The Scout Association has great heritage and is hugely respected.

“Its reach stretches continents and the agreement means that Brunton can use the internationally recognised logo in all EU countries, USA and Canada.

“There will be a large number of opportunities in the UK which will be used to their full potential in order to establish the Brunton TruArc brand here. We are delighted to be working with The Scout Association.”
