The body of a climber has been found on a mountain in Glencoe.
Buachaille Etive Mòr
The man was pronounced dead at the scene after the discovery at 1.45pm on Saturday. Members of Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team and police officers were called to Buachaille Etive Mòr after the man was found on the 1,022m (3,353ft) peak.
The climber has not been named. A spokesman for Northern Constabulary said: “There will be no further details of the deceased until next of kin have been informed.”
The mountain rescue team carried the man’s body from the mountain.
Stob Dearg is the highest point on the Buachaille Etive Mòr range, with a further two munros and one munro top along its 8km (5 mile) ridge.
