Police have named the man who died following a fall in the Highlands.

The body of Tom Clark, 65, a graphic designer, of Aberdeen, was found by rescuers on the mountains above the Cluanie Inn in Glen Shiel on Saturday.

Kintail Mountain Rescue Team was joined by Search and Rescue Dogs Association members, police and a Sea King helicopter from RAF Lossiemouth in the operation after the incident was reported. His body was found about 5.30pm.

A Northern Constabulary spokesperson said Mr Clark had fallen some distance.

A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
