Police are appealing for help after a report that a woman was assaulted in the Glen Nevis campsite at the weekend.

The woman was alleged to have been assaulted on Friday evening and Northern Constabulary officers are investigating the incident.

A spokesperson said: “Police are keen to trace a member of the public who may have spoken to the female near to a toilet block and helped her with directions back to Fort William.
