Top ultrarunner Nicky Spinks will be among speakers at the expert evenings

Outdoor movie buffs can get a cinema preview of this year’s Sheffield Adventure Film Festival tomorrow with the festival’s trailer premiere night.

The evening will also feature the best of the 2012 ShAFF offerings and the chance to meet the band The Screaming Maldini, who supplied the music for the trailer.

The premiere evening starts at 8.30pm at the Showroom Cinema in Sheffield on Tuesday 15 January.

Organisers have also finalised the line-up for this year’s March festival and other events in the run-up, including an expert night on climbing concentrating on women performers, with talks by Shauna Coxey, Lucy Creamer, Stephanie Meysner, Jen Randall and Fran Brown.

A £250 donation to the Women’s Climbing Symposium will also be made from proceeds.

Nicky Spinks will be among speakers at another expert night aimed at runners and there will also be a similar evening aimed at mountain bikers.
