Kayaker Jason Chung Yai-Ho's body was found by a member of the public on Rùm

Police have formally identified the man whose body was found on the Isle of Rùm last month.

Officers confirmed the dead man was kayaker Jason Chung Wai-Ho, aged 40, from Glasgow.

Mr Ho was seen launching his boat from Traigh Beach near Arisaig on 13 January. His body was found on Rùm on 25 March.

Police Scotland said: “His family are understandably upset by their loss and have said that he will be greatly missed. They do not wish to make any further comments.”
