Colin Barnfather's body was found in the Kinloch Hourn area

Police have confirmed the body found in the Kinloch Hourn area was that of missing Derby man Colin Barnfather.

The 54-year-old was reported missing on Friday and members of Lochaber, Kintail and RAF Mountain Rescue Teams mounted a search in the area.

Members of the Search and Rescue Dogs Association also took part in the operation, along with a Sea King helicopter from RAF Lossiemouth.

Mr Barnfather’s body was found yesterday afternoon.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
