A Lakeland mountain rescue team has recovered a body from a fell in the west of the area.

Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team was called to Burnbank Fell, above Loweswater at 1.40pm yesterday, Friday. The body was recovered in the Holme Beck area.

The incident was attended by 22 members of the team.
