Police have named the walker whose body was found in the Grey Corries in Lochaber.

Christopher Reddick of Ascot in Berkshire failed to return from a walk in the area.

His body was found by rescuers in the Coire Choimlidh area north of Stob Coire an Laoigh about 3pm on Saturday.

Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team members began a search about 8am on Saturday, and were joined by colleagues from Glencoe and RAF Lossiemouth Mountain Rescue Teams, and a Coastguard search and rescue helicopter from Inverness.

Police said it was believed he had slipped and fallen.

He was the third hillwalker to die in Lochaber within a week. Steven Fogg, 56, of Aboyne, was with two others on the ridge linking Carn Mòr Dearg with Ben Nevis when he slipped and fell.

And the body of Ian Bell, 60, of Hertfordshire was found by rescuers in Coire Eòghainn on Ben Nevis.
