Outdoors writer Phoebe Smith will shortly take to the airwaves to examine the controversial wild camping ban in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs national park.

Ms Smith has produced a short feature that is due to be broadcast on BBC Radio 4’s You and Yours consumer affairs programme.

The writer said: “As the end of the wild camp ban season approaches, from 1 October, those invisible lines that tell us where is legal and where is not around Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, disappear.

“I speak to rangers, ramblers, campers and access campaigners to see what impact it has had.”

The programme starts at 12.15pm on Friday and will then be available on the BBC iPlayer. More details are on the BBC website.
