The Yorkshire Dales: how does the website measure up?Authorities in the Yorkshire Dales want to know what you think of their website.

The national park authority says its site is important for keeping visitors up to date, but it wants your views on how useful it is, how easy to use you find it and whether its information is useful. There’s a prize draw competition as a bribe for anyone completing its survey.

The Yorkshire Dales: how does the website measure up?

Communications manager Kath Taylor said: “We need to know if we have got it right and if we are providing the information people want in the format they want.

“We ran this survey last year and it generated some useful feedback and ideas about the site.”

After last year’s survey, the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority added a Getting Active section to the site, for lovers of outdoor activity – that’s you, we assume, if you’re a grough reader.

There is also information on toilets and parking: staples of any trip to the Dales.

A national park-branded jacket is on offer for the winner of the draw, as well as £25 in cash, so you may as well have a pop.
