Walkers head for munro Beinn Dorain

A documentary maker is looking for a munro enthusiast who hopes to complete the round within the next three months.

The BBC is making a programme about the 284 peaks in Scotland that top the 3,000ft (914.4m) mark and wants to feature one intrepid bagger who is close to ticking off the last one in the list. The show will air in summer.

Director Matt Barrett is asking mountain lovers to help in his search for a ‘compleater’ to appear in the programme.

He said: “If you are expecting to complete the munros between now and the end of May – within the next three months – we would like to hear from you.

“Let us know when and where you expect to complete, how you plan to celebrate, plus a line or two about yourself.”

You can contact Mr Barrett at matt.barrett@bbc.co.uk or by ringing 0141 422 6110.

BBC Scotland is producing the programme, which will be shown on BBC Four.
