A man was airlifted to hospital from a Glencoe peak after falling into a gully.

The 39-year-old walker suffered minor injuries when the cornice he was standing on gave way on Stob Coire nan Lochan, the 1,115m (3,658ft) peak in the Bidean nam Bian range. He fell about 215m (700ft) in the incident, which happened about 2pm on Sunday.

Members of Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team were flown to the area by an RAF helicopter. After treatment at the scene, he was airlifted to Belford Hospital in Fort William.
