A mean thief has made off with a charity collecting box belonging to a mountain rescue team.
Cumbria Constabulary is appealing for information about the theft of the box, containing about £40, from a guest house in Southey Street, Keswick. Police say the offender entered the premises between 10am and 7pm on Saturday, 11 April.
The box contained funds for the Keswick Mountain Rescue Team.
