Police have confirmed the identity of a man whose body was found near Ben Nevis.
Louis Lebel, of Pimlico, London, fell into the Water of Nevis last Sunday. Extensive searches were mounted by Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team. The body of the 27-year-old man was spotted by a walker in Glen Nevis in the Steall Gorge area.
The search was stood down after the discovery and members of the rescue team recovered the man’s remains from the burn.
Mr Lebel’s next-of-kin have been informed.
