Police in Wales want you to give them a ring – if you’ve lost yours.

Two pieces of jewellery, described as an engagement ring and either a wedding band or eternity ring, were found by a walker on the Pyg Track leading to Snowdon’s summit yesterday afternoon. North Wales Police wants to return the rings to their rightful owner.

The jewellery was handed in at Llanrwst on Thursday after being discovered on the track, one of the most popular ascent routes to the 1,085m (3,560ft) peak.

Anyone who has lost the rings or has information about their owner, is asked to contact Llanrwst police station on 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line) or 0845 607 1002 (English line).

Alternatively, walkers can send a text message to 66767 or email North Wales Police.
