Police have released more details of the walker missing in the Ben Alder area.

Michael O’Grady, 64, of Irvinestown, County Fermanagh, was last seen before Christmas after leaving the Loch Ossian Youth Hostel, a mile east of Corrour railway station.

Mr O’Grady, described as an experienced hillwalker, left the hostel on 22 December, intending to walk to Culra Bothy, 19km (12 miles) away.

The spokesperson said they have concerns for the walker who was last seen 18 days ago.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or speak to any police officer.
