The advice covers Poco AG models

Owners of a child carrier from a leading outdoor brand are being asked to check their models for a potential defect.

The safety warning affects Osprey Poco AG Child Carriers bought between 29 January and 12 May this year.

Osprey said: “Osprey Europe advises customers to inspect their Poco AG Child Carrier due to a possible buckle failure hazard, which presents the risk of physical injury.

“Only Poco AG models (Poco AG Premium, Poco AG Plus and Poco AG) are affected and relate to product purchased from 29 January 2016.

“All other Poco models (ie non-Poco AG) sold between 2012 and January 2016 are not affected.”

The brand said anyone who has a Poco AG product should stop using it immediately and carry out their own inspection of the carrier.

Osprey Poco AG safety checkInstructions for owners are on the Osprey website.
