Police have appealed to outdoor enthusiasts for sightings of a man in Glen Nevis.

Officers said concerns have been raised for the safety of David Munro.

The local 74-year-old has lived in the glen for several years, camping at various locations. But Police Scotland said he has not been seen for a number weeks and isn’t in any of his usual camping spots.

Mr Munro is described as 5ft 4ins (1.63m) tall, with grey hair and a beard.

He usually wears green waterproof clothing and wellington boots and camps with two tents.

Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is urged to contact police in Fort William or call 101.
