The owner of two rings found by a walker on Snowdon has contacted police to claim them.

The woman will travel from Buckinghamshire to collect the jewellery, which was found last week on the Pyg Track. The walker handed the rings, an engagement ring and a wedding band in at Llanrwst police station.

A spokesperson said: “North Wales Police would like to thank the person who found the rings and handed them in to officers.”
