The 73-year-old woman fell from the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path near Llanbadrig on Camaes Bay on Monday.

Police were alerted at 3pm and the Holyhead Coastguard co-ordinated the rescue of the woman, who was from the Wirral.

She was airlifted from the scene by a Sea King helicopter from RAF Anglesey and flown to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor, but pronounced dead at the hospital.
