Police have named the walker whose body was found on a munro.

Alexander Sproule, 74, was reported missing by his walking group after he failed to return from a trip up Ben Cruachan.

The Edinburgh man became separated from his companions while coming down from the 1,126m (3,649ft mountain on Saturday night and his body was found by rescuers about 9.30am Sunday morning.
