A man’s body has been found in woods on a Flintshire hillside.

North Wales Police said they were alerted about 3.10pm today after the discovery on Moel Famau.

Police yesterday appealed to walkers and mountain bikers in the area to be on the lookout for Andrew Pae, whose car was found at a car park at the base of the hill in the Clwydian Range.

Mr Pae, 35, of Buckley, Flintshire, had not been seen since leaving work at a building site in Congleton, Cheshire on Tuesday.

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “The death is not being treated as suspicious.

“The body has yet to be formally identified and the North East Wales Coroner has been informed.

“There is no more information available at this time.”
