A group of walkers was rescued from a Lake District mountain after getting lost.
Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team went to the aid of four people who became stuck on High Crag above Buttermere when the weather closed in.
A team spokesperson said the incident initially involved two brothers caught out in bad visibility on the 744m (2,441ft) fell.
The spokesperson said: “They were soon joined by another two walkers.
“The team established their position using the GPS in their mobile phone, found them on High Crag and escorted them down to Gatesgarth.”
The team was called out about 2.35pm today and 18 volunteer members were involved in the rescue.

17 July 2014I think it's time to take measures to enforce people to become more responsible for themselves.
MRT should seriously consider creating a "Stupidity Tax" for those calling on their services in certain instances...
1. Lost - no map or compass = Stupidity Tax!
2. Bad weather - only have tracksuit on = Stupidity Tax!
3. Tired - didn't think it'd be so far = Stupidity Tax!
4. Cragfast - born again drama queen = Stupidity Tax!
5. Feeling unwell - because I haven't eaten = Stupidity Tax!
...and so on.
Sure, we can all take a tumble and twist a joint or break a few bones, that's a given. In cases where casualties have shown all due diligence, but have unfortunately managed to incapacitate themselves, no Stupidity Tax should be levvied.
Every person who goes out on the fells or mountains should go prepared to withstand foul weather and know there's a possibility of having to spend an uncomfortable night on the hill if conditions dictate.
MRT are there to save lives, not pander to the discomfort of fools.
