Mountain rescuers will be out and about in a Lake District village on Sunday to give advice to members of the public.

Coniston Mountain Rescue Team will on hand to answer questions at various points around Coniston, and will also accept donations. The team’s support group will join members for the day, which is being held as part of the National Mountain and Cave Rescue Awareness event.

The village’s Women’s Institute will also hold a coffee morning to raise funds for the team at the library on Yewdale Road.
