A woman was rescued after injuring her leg while walking in Glen Feshie.

Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team treated the woman, in her 60s, who suffered a suspected broken leg, and she was then taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness after the incident on Sunday.

The team was also involved in a search for a lost walker in the Cairngorms the same day.

An extensive search was mounted for the man, who was walking alone in the area.

The crew of an RAF Sea King search and rescue helicopter found the walker near Braeriach.

Northern Constabulary said no further details of the two walkers were being released.
