A walker who was reported missing in the Highlands has been found safe and well.

Police Scotland said officers had traced Jerome Richmond.

Mr Richmond, of Middlesbrough, boarded a bus at Edinburgh, heading for Inverness, 10 days ago. Police said they believed he planned to walk in the Ben Wyvis area.

“We would like to thank the public who shared our appeal and contacted officers with information.”
