Richard Gordon-Head has been found safe and well

A man who was reported missing on Friday has been found safe and well.

Police said Wiltshire man Richard Gordon-Head was believed to be in Cumbria.

They launched an appeal for information, saying they had concerns for the 59-year-old’s welfare. Mr Gordon-Head, who grew up in the county, was known to be a keen fellwalker and was fond of the Haweswater area.

A Cumbria Constabulary spokesperson said: “A missing man from Wiltshire who we appealed for help finding yesterday has been located safe and well.

“Thank you to all who helped by sharing the appeal.”
