Police in the Highlands said they are no longer looking for a man who was reported missing after going walking.

Dale Finnie was believed to have headed to the Lochinver or Glen Affric areas but failed to make contact with his family.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police have received positive information as to the whereabouts and safety of Dale Finnie.
